About Me

Lisa DeJohn draws from a variety of influences when creating her art work. The strongest being the subtleties and juxtaposition of shapes present in architecture, everyday objects and nature. Lisa credits her parents for sharing their love of art, design and nature as these passions have contributed to her deep rooted interest in the nuances of her surroundings and created a life full of joy, observation and creation.

In the years since she began her career, Lisa’s work has flourished to also include illustration and surface design. She continues to be prolific with her fine art and has shown in solo and group exhibits from Portland, Oregon to Montreal, Quebec. Her art has been featured in The Boston Globe, Elle Decor and Marie Claire Italia.  Her work has also been highlighted in numerous web blogs such as Design*Sponge, Decor8, Vogue.com, Art Esprit, Apartment Therapy, Print and Pattern, Paper Crave and Bloesom just to name a few.

Her client list includes Chronicle Books, DGinventive, The Land of Nod, IKEA, Godiva Chocolatier, Time Inc., TeNeues Publishing, Oopsy Daisy, Fossil, Deutch Inc., Art Group, London, APG Media, Vigo Cards, Pinball Publishing and Animal Planet.

She currently lives in southern California with her husband and two Chihuahua Terriers where she continues to seek inspiration from her surroundings.
